Ole "Naiman" Batyrbekov defeated Stanislav "StanCifka" Cifka in the grand finals of Hearthstone online tournament StarLadder Ultimate Series 2017 to receive $4,999 in prize money and qualify for StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 4.
StarLadder Hearthstone Ultimate Series featured 10 invited players, who competed in a Conquest mode. First, the players were put in a round-robin group with top 6 players advancing to the single-elimination playoffs bracket. Naiman and StanCifka, who placed first and second respectively, qualified directly to the semifinals, while Neirea, Allad, ShtanUdachi and NickChipper placed 3-6th and advanced to the quarterfinals.

In the playoffs Naiman defeated NickChipper (3-1), while StanCifka outplayed Allad (3-0), who later managed to win the match for the third place over NickChipper with the 3-0 score. The final series ended with the 3-2 score in favor of Naiman, who not only got $4,999 in prize money, but also secured his spot at StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 4.
